    • The RNIP is available in select rural and northern communities in Canada. Each community has specific criteria and job market needs.

      • Alberta: Claresholm, Chestermere, and others.
      • Manitoba: Altona, Morden, and others.
      • Ontario: North Bay, Sudbury, and others.
      • Saskatchewan: Moose Jaw, North Battleford, and others.
  • Community Recommendations
    • To apply, you need to be recommended by one of the participating communities. Each community has its own application process and criteria for selecting candidates.
    • The recommendation process includes:
      • Application to the Community: Submit an application to the community of your choice.
      • Community Review: The community reviews applications and may interview candidates to ensure they fit local needs.
      • Recommendation Certificate: If selected, you receive a recommendation certificate from the community.
  • Application Process
    • Step 1: Secure a Job Offer and Community Recommendation
      • Obtain a full-time, permanent job offer from an employer in a participating community.
      • Apply to the community for a recommendation certificate.
    • Step 2: Apply for Permanent Residency
      • Once you have the community recommendation, apply for permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
    • Step 3: Processing
      • IRCC processes your PR application. Processing times vary but generally take several months.
